Objective & Approach
CocuSocial came to us looking for an SEO strategy to help them grow their business into new markets. When the pandemic made it impossible for businesses to host in-person events and get-togethers because of isolation. The Brand Republic as an agency needs to propose a quick solution and we came up with the new content strategy that allowed them to rotate from traditional campus-class to an online-class model that saved the company.
We revamped their entire model and relied on in-person events.
BR set their initial strategy which was to apply our creative content ideation process to identify groups of keywords driving traffic to competitors that CocuSocial wasn’t targeting. We built out those content topics, optimized for search better than the competitors, and wrote the SEO based content. To gain friction with especially competitive keywords, we complemented the content efforts with backlinks from high-authority websites. We kept rotating the content strategy to fit a new search intent to help CocuSocial go from a simmer to a full boil in search results with nearly 10,000 positive position changes in Google Search. As a result of their campaign, CocuSocial’s number of ranking keywords increased 116% and took 1 year to make SEO successful for the brand.
